Shihan Shane Degney has been training in martial arts since 1984, he achieved his black belt in 1988 and has been teaching martial arts from that time.
Shihan Shane obtained his 6th Dan on 28 Jully 2014 under Hanshi Terupe 9th Dan and Hanshi Michael Ireland 9th Dan. Shihan Shane has graded thirteen students to black belt in his school since its inception.

Sensei Mark is also an accredited referee for the National All Styles Tournament circuit.
